We offer a 2-Level, 570-hour Massage Licensing program on Kauai, learning the healing art of Hawaiian Lomi Massage. The next class begins September 10, 2016 and will be held at the Golden Lotus Studio.
Anatomy, physiology, structural kinesiology, massage theory and practice are included as well as advanced techniques, practical application in a supervised student massage clinic.
The entry Level 1 class is a ten week course that includes all the basics necessary to satisfy the State requirements, and give you a solid foundation to build upon. Classes are held on Monday and Thursday evenings from 5 pm to 9 pm and Saturdays from 9 am to 5 pm.
A 4 hour class is offered once a week in Advanced techniques. In these we will discuss different pathologies and the anatomy/physiology relating to them and the area we will be working on. Each week we will also learn a mini routine using advanced techniques in one specific area of the body.
